
This crater lake is considered a sacred Hindu site, believed to be linked to the Ganges River.
Several temples and a tall statue of Lord Shiva overlook the water’s edge.
During Maha Shivaratri, hundreds of thousands of pilgrims walk here from across the island.
Outside the festival, it remains a peaceful spot for reflection and temple visits.
