This dormant volcanic crater rises above the town of Curepipe on the central plateau.
A paved path circles the crater’s rim, offering panoramic views across much of the island.
On clear days you can see as far as the west and south coasts.
It’s a popular sunset and jogging spot for locals living nearby.
