Mauritius’s tallest single-drop waterfall plunges around 100 metres into a forested gorge near Chamarel village.

A short walk from the car park leads to a viewpoint overlooking the falls.

Flow is most dramatic during the wetter summer months between December and April.

It’s often combined with a visit to the nearby Seven Coloured Earths on the same trip.
